Hey friends!

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a more free-flowing newsletter.

As we get closer to starting our next 200 HR Yoga Teacher Training, I’ve been reflecting on something that feels important right now:

discernment

This message is for my students—past and future, friends—past and future, or anyone on a spiritual path in this very human world.

Discernment is like a wise pair of glasses. It helps us see more clearly. It can greatly help us sort and sift what should stay and stick with what we are taking in from outside of us—knowledge included.

We aren’t here to pursue growth, healing, or self-discovery without it. Discernment is what keeps us aligned. It helps us distill the endless stream of teachings, information, and practices down to what is actually right for us as individuals. It keeps us from IMITATING someone else—even their healing, and instead, find a deep wellspring of authenticity through alignment and personal experience.

Yoga isn’t just about physical practice and poses and its DEFINITELY NOT about idealism, aesthetics, or putting our teacher on a pedestal—it’s more about discovering and anchoring a more deep self-understanding and a lifestyle that aligns with that.

Discernment is a skill that matters deeply—especially for students of yoga, or anyone committed to inner work.

I love these deep training immersions because we have the WEALTH OF TIME to deepen into skills like discernment, which is incredibly empowering to our lives! We GET to build real community, real reverence, and a real field of inquiry, discernment, and discovery that is directly linked to a chain of yoga practitioners in a lineage that continues to evolve—through thousands of years!

What would life, practice, spirituality be like for us if we could—

prioritize the practices that really work for US in our season of life,

understand that we will always have differences from our teachers, idols, expectations, AND

be able to embody,  celebrate, and validate our unique perspective.

My Yoga teacher training, offers this kind of radical self-study space. I am blown away by the discernment and empowerment I see people leave the progam with. This makes me HAPPY and motivated to share the message! Join us :D

If you’ve been feeling called to deepen your Yoga practice, your human practice, your spiritual practice, your community practice—not just through conceptual knowledge, but with clarity, embodiment, and discernment—the next 200 HR Embodied Wisdom Trauma Informed Yoga Teacher Training is OPEN for registration for another month!

It’s designed to support empowered discernment and the self-actualization process that YOGA truly is—allowing those who are called to ROOT more deeply into their lives, bodies, and spirits, whether they ultimately desire to teach or not.

Thanks for being you, I wish you peace.

With great love,

Kelsey Wishik
