In our second Somatic Movement series at Revolution Therapy and Yoga, we will explore the healing power of somatic (intuitive) movement. The word SOMATIC means, of the living body, and implies our feeling nature. We are more than logic, and healing and BEING are both beyond just simple logic. We are living bodies, and healing is an embodied process that can involve both exploring where pain and limitation lives in the body, and where/how we can feel more free. This course focuses on trauma-informed principless, but also cultivates self-awareness and expression. Together, we'll find our way to a more expansive embodied state through weekly practice.

I welcome all who would like to participate in this next Somatic Series coming up in August--we explore movement, intentionally work with emotions and events that impact the body/mind/spirit, learn self-regulation tools, and build healing community. I was blown away by the playfulness and profundity of the last group, which has inspired me to continue sharing and adapting this work.

Somatic movement, unlike some other movement modalities, is more intuitively based (less structured/symmetrical) and allows for people of all experience levels (including none) to discover a fresh relationship with their body, access personal expression, and navigate/relieve pain and discomfort with greater ease, among many other things. Always happy to receive questions and you can also reach out to Revolution directly. If you can't attend every session, we will still receive you. Much love
