Somatic movement is an intuitive approach to movement that reconnects you with the innate intelligence of your body. Through slow, mindful motion, you tune into sensation—your personal felt-sense—and learn to understand what your body has been holding as well as what truly provides nourishment, grounding, and relief.
This approach supports trauma processing, nervous system regulation, and deeper self-awareness. It softens old patterns, restores fluidity, and opens a pathway back to authentic expression. Somatic movement invites your body, mind, and spirit to move together again with presence and ease.

My approach to 1-1 Somatic Work
We begin with what has called you to this work.
Some people have a story, an injury, or just a calling to understand their body better.
Many people I work with have experienced a trauma or sensations in their body that are limiting their freedom, movement, and happiness.

We always begin with learning to be present--because the work of self-regulation can only come from being attuned to the moment. We first learn the energetics of grounding through movement and progress into rhythmic movements (accessible and adaptable to all levels)
​
We move into areas of concern, or focuses of interest--whether it be pain reduction or cultivating vitality.
​
We recover and establish sensation, self-awareness in motion, safety in mindset, and freedom.
​
For people called to do this work from a trauma-informed perspective, we have moments of talking, expressing, healing, and integrating those embodied stories--with additional support tools available for after sessions together.

Catharsis: Movement for Emotional Alchemy
